At SELCO, he was given the responsibility to design and start a new Innovation department to focus on financial, technology and process innovation to make energy services accessible for the poor. Currently he heads a new department called 'MISSION' being responsible to keep SELCO on its original mission track and take it further down in the economic pyramid. "EDI was a great platform for me which I utilised to its optimum. The facilities and the course curriculum was really helpful in understanding the development sector from an enterprising angle. It was the internship during my EDI course that provided me the opportunity to work in one of the best learning environments at Auroville, Pondicherry where I got to know what renewable energy sector is all about. I am proudly continuing with my first job since 2006 with SELCO. Any youngster looking for a course in Social development or social enterprise, EDI should be in their best five list. From another side, you will certainly enjoy the majestic campus and the beautiful lawn which still captures a huge part of my student life memories." – Prasanta Biswal, VIIIth batch student, currently working since 2006 with SELCO as Senior Manager - MISSION
